TIPS TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR OUTFIT

Cool Sharp & Stylish.. Are just a few of the words you will feel if you choose to

Our Prom Guide below will explain everything you need to know from what Tux
to choose to how to wear your accessories

First things first....you need a smart dinner suit also commonly referred to as a
Tuxedo. Wearing “Black Tie” for a school Prom is made up of the following items
of clothing...

A dinner suit comprise of a black 1, 2 or 3 button jacket usually single breasted and
has either silk or satin lapels, pocket flaps & matching trousers with silk or satin edging
running down the side seams. Go for a 1 or 2 button for a much more contemporary look
stylish look.

The cummerbund is a broad sash worn around the waist over the top of the waistband
& covering the shirt. The cummerbund is optional but it’s a great extra that will make
you feel cool just like Daniel Craig.

The bow tie usually co-ordinates with the cummerbund & comes either as a self tie
or pre-tied and can be worn with a wing collar or plain collar dress shirt. You can go
crazy with the colours to co-ordinate with your prom date.

Waistcoats are also optional but a great way of injecting some colour & personality
into your outfit. Avoid fussy designs with lots of embroidery, keep it monochrome or
just add a splash of colour to look sharp.

Finally don't let your outfit down with scuffed shoes. Black polished lace-ups are the best
Now your all clued up remember to get measured properly. This might be your first ever
suit fitting so it’s important to get it right and turn up to your prom looking the part.
